I’m thrilled to announce that I, Rashedul Alam from Bangladesh, have reached level 10 on the Google Local Guide platform, the program’s highest level. It’s a moment of great satisfaction and pride for me!
Since 2017, I’ve been part of the Google Local Guide program. From level 1 to 10, this journey has been fantastic. I’ve cherished every moment, adding many missing places, updating a lot of information, writing constructive reviews, and uploading pictures and videos to Google Maps. I’ve always aimed to make qualitative contributions.
After reaching level 8, the journey becomes more challenging. It’s important for contributors to be extra mindful of their actions. Any unintentional violations or false contributions that violate Google Guidelines could lead to ID suspension.
I faced a suspension myself for a few months. During that period, I made an effort to study and understand Google’s guidelines and policies. I adjusted my profile accordingly, appealed, and eventually had my ID reinstated.
I hope my promotion to level 10 will inspire other local guides to contribute quality work and reach their desired destination level. Let’s collaborate to enhance Google Maps for the benefit of everyone.
