Three oceans meeting point at Kanyakumari, the south most tip of India

The significance of Kanyakumari, the southern most tip of India, is that three Oceans viz. The Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian sea joins at this point, near the statue. So, we can see 3 different colors of sea water. Another important point is that we can view both sunrise and sunset from a view-tower specially erected for this reason. There are two historical monuments are situated inside the sea which can be accessed by boat service. At the sea shore there shops selling and displaying sea shells, corrals, sea-sand of different colors, home decors made of sea shells etc. There are some more interesting facts about Kanyakumari which can be obtained from wikipedia and personally from the local tourist guides.
