Kaniungan Besar Island (personal doc)
Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country and also a maritime country. The island group stretches from west to east with beautiful coastlines and also panoramic views of the mainland that complement Indonesia’s natural beauty.
It never occurred to me that one day I would be able to visit the tip of one of the islands that is in Indonesia. Even though it’s the island of Borneo where I spend a lot of time.
The island of Borneo is the third largest island in the world. The terrain is hilly and has a beautiful coastline but has not been widely exposed. Kalimantan, especially East Kalimantan.
I am very grateful that I was finally able to visit the tip of the island of East Kalimantan on the northeast side of the island of Borneo and facing the eastern part of the Makassar Strait. Precisely in the Biduk Biduk sub-district, Berau. Kaniungan Besar or also to Teluk Sumbang.
From here we can clearly see the tip of the island of Borneo complete with very beautiful natural scenery.
The end of Island (personal doc)
Hopefully one day I can visit and see the ends of other islands in Indonesia.
For right now I can only share that beauty through photos and hope there are some of you which one day can also see firsthand the beauty at the end of the island.
