You know, we live in totally different cultures from in our countries, people are not same. So when I ask, I wanna know and learn.

I always get disorientated because in Manchester (UK), Pride takes place at the end of August so the excitement starts in August rather than June! For those unfamiliar, Pride is celebrated at different times of the year for many other countries. I don’t actually know why but I like to think that it’s done so that the LGBTQIA+ community can travel and visit the various Pride celebrations to join in and lend their support! And it does happen! And it’s an amazing experience too!

Yes, it will be a very different celebration this year but with everything else that is going on, it’s a good reminder that we should not just embrace diversity but celebrate it too.

One of the things I love about Local Guides is that we are accepting and supporting @KatieMcBroom we’re not just about Maps and food, we’re about equality. I genuinely feel that the Local Guides program is changing the world one step at a time by highlighting issues and cultures to people who would not otherwise be exposed to them.
