I learned the term “digital vagabond” a few years ago, and ever since then I’ve had this idea that I’m a travel writer (with a support system, obviously) sitting and working “remotely” at some wonderful cafe in a distant country.
After 2020, everyone began working “remotely,” even if we weren’t vagabond. Although it’s crucial to keep secure, now that things have begun to change, I’ve made the decision to make the most of it and make the most of my time at home (Aamche Goa). So, I have been making a list of cafes in Goa - that seem like the perfect ‘work from’ spots for those days where the ‘work corner’ (or couch) at home just doesn’t cut it.
You know what I mean?
1. Pastry Cottage bakery & Bistro
I’ve frequented this adorable place for years. My sister and I used to go together for a delicious red velvet pastry. The only thing I want to do is go there with my laptop and get inspired by a Mumbai Chowpati Sandwich for my upcoming power-point presentation.
Location: Caranzalem
2. Cremeux
Reason? Everything is perfect with this place. I am in love with this café they serve amazing blue berry cheese cake, croissant and focaccia.
.Location: Navelim
3. Ceskaz Deli Café
The last time I visited this café over a weekend with my sister. There is something about that place that says - ‘ease’. They offer tasty food and amazing smoothies, shakes.
Location: Pajifond, Margao
4. Café Soopoo
Reason? They allow me to take my fur ball inside café. Coolest café in town. Don’t forget to try their amazing sandwiches.
Location: opposite old heritage pilar, Pilar neura
5. Nanbai
Nanbai has been something I have wanted to visit for year. For many reasons, and finally in 2022, I took my notebook (or laptop) and sat in this stunning cafe and got inspired over the delicious pistachio éclairs.
Location: La Campala Colony, Panaji
6. Bombay Coffee Roasters
For those people whose good day starts with coffee this is a really good place to cool off with a cup of cappuccino and blue berry muffins. They even have a co-working space.
Location: Fontainhas, Panaji
7. karma café – bakery
I don’t expect to recurrent here. But I truly want to find this location if I ever find myself in Cancona. The location appears so inviting even from a photo that I can’t help but imagine myself settling in
8. Café Inn
Reason? Recently discovered this place on Google and it just looked too cute I really want to find this place.
These are just 8, but I know, there is so much more to discover. The astonishing interiors, cozy corners, delicious food, and the nicest cups of coffee. Do you have any recommendations?
