The Dubai Mall is a vibrant entertainment place with massive buzzing crowd, especially, during the weekends. This place is ranked as the world’s biggest shopping mall in terms of land area (~10 million ft2) with numerous extravagant stores. This mall hosts huge aquariums and provides direct access to the world’s tallest building, The Burj Khalifa.
We reached the mall by boarding a Metro Train, the closest station to this enormous mall is “Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station”. From the station we had a walk of nearly 10 minutes to reach the mall area. There are many escalators in place from the station to mall to make walking more comfortable for the shoppers/visitors. The walking area have massive windows, so that pedestrians can view Dubai’s lustrous city center while walking.
It was remarkable to see so many captivating lighting attractions and live events in the stunning shopping mall. This place is a heaven for Shopaholic people with more than 1200 stores (with immense area) and hundreds of food outlets. The signboards were placed adequately assisting the shoppers with the directions. I saw huge crowds specifically near the aquariums.
For me personally the thing which I enjoy the most in this shopping complex was the Human Sculptures Waterfalls. In my opinion, I found the waterfalls design as innovative with a sense of dramatic touch-up. It was an amazing spectacle to see the impressive human sculptures with their hands spreading side-ward plummeting downwards to the waterfalls (the human sculptures are made from fiberglass). Because of the vast size of the falls this can be easily spotted from all the levels of the mall.
