This is my first post on #Localguidesconnect … As a local guide I have had the opportunity to travel a lot inside of my beautiful country Costa Rica, it’s have allowed me discover great spots and make the best tips for those who are looking the best nature and wildlife, today folks I want to share some tips and pictures of Tortuguero.
First it all, you must to know that in Tortuguero rain a lot and the dry months are October and early november and the nesting sea turtle season goes from July to September and you can see this during the nights only and you must to pay a local guided tour (you cannot enter to the beach without a guide) mostly hotels include a package departing from SJO which included transportation, 3 daily meals and lodging.
Bring your Poncho for the rain, sunblock (just in case) repellent, cap, camera and the best actitude to enjoy this place.
