So during this Durga Puja I have seen various small beautiful pandals and the decoration of the pandals and hosted meet-ups there, but the thing that I haven’t talked about yet was the vibrant lighting of the pandals.
My all-time partner Google Maps not only helps me to locate various pandals but also makes it possible for me and others to experience the beautiful lighting.
While using Google Maps I was doing pandal hopping at the Gariahat area in Kolkata. I was searching for the best pandals nearby and also reading the reviews on Google Maps.
After reading, I was curious to visit there. Finally, when I visited there, my glasses were shining by the reflection of that vibrant lighting. It was looking so awesome, stunning, brilliant, outstanding and what not.
This same story is for the other pandals as well, thanks to Google Maps for making it possible for us to experience the best. I am giving the best pictures of the lighting of the pandals I have visited across Kolkata. All the lighting and the places where it’s situated were fully accessible; I even saw a person in a wheelchair accessing and enjoying it.
Beautiful post @Shaunak , The lights and decorations truly bring out the real essence of Durga Puja. Loved how you highlighted accessibility too — that’s something really inspiring. Great capture and storytelling✨
Wow! @Shaunak Thanks for sharing these stunning glimpses of Kolkata’s Durga Puja 2025 lighting! The vibrant illuminations and accessible pandals truly showcase the city’s festive spirit.
