The Vasco da Gama Bridge, Lisbon, Portugal. ইউরোপীয় ইউনিয়নের দীর্ঘতম সেতু।

This bridge is named after the well-known Portuguese figure Vasco da Gama. In Portuguese: Ponte Vasco da Gama. It is a cable-stayed bridge flanked by viaducts that crosses the Tagus River in Parque das Nações, Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.

The two panorama pictures above were taken by me in 2019.

It is the second-longest bridge in Europe. And it is currently the longest bridge in the European Union.

When I first arrived in Portugal in 2019, I had a lot of free time, and I would come here with friends to spend time together.

There are several wooden platforms near the bridge that you can walk on. Behind the Vasco da Gama Shopping Mall, a long walkway runs along the banks of the Tagus River, providing access closer to the bridge. Along this walking street, you will find five-star hotels Myriad, beautiful gardens, and a Telecabine Lisboa cable car.

Thank you for your valuable comments. The Vasco da Gama Bridge is 17.2 kilometers long in total, which includes both the main bridge and the access roads. The main bridge itself measures 12.3 kilometers, while the access roads for the remaining 4.9 kilometers.
