I am Blessing, from Nigeria but currently living in UAE. I got introduced to Local Guides in Lagos (Nigeria).
I am this person that would never post pictures if it wasn’t modelling pictures or give a review about something or somewhere. When I started as a local guide I would only write reviews but won’t post pictures or videos , even my reviews weren’t detailed enough.
Along the line I started making videos and taking pictures of everything that I love and where I visit. I love Food, in other words I am a foodie but a petite foodie, I love Art, Fashion and Nightlife.
I fell so much in love with how I always want to contribute, that I felt like I was competing with someone other than myself. Whenever I get notifications from Local Guides on how many people I have helped, how many views, it makes me smile and eager to do more.
When I was home in Lagos Nigeria, no hangout was complete without me. I always got the best deals and spots to chill at. I felt like a Guru 
meanwhile I would check fellow Local Guides to see where they have visited so that I would go and recommend later.
Here in UAE I keep upgrading myself and pushing myself to do more. I am just few months in UAE but I have covered all 7 Emirates because I just don’t want to be stuck on reviewing just one city why not 2 or 3 or even all. I was never this eager but thanks to Local Guides I found my passion. I always want to share with the world .
There’s a joy that comes with reviewing places especially when you are recognized by the staff or business owner of the place you reviewed. I reviewed a small business (Cafe 48) in Shabia 9 Musafah Abu Dhabi, it’s a small cafe with good and affordable food, I visited the place a month later after reviewing and was shocked when the owner called me by my name and thanked me for reviewing his Cafe. I felt so happy that I could put a smile on someone’s face.
I can now give detailed reviews, share my interest with the world and also make others smile. Thanks for Shaping me with this program (Local Guides)
I will keep exploring and doing what makes me happy because the journey just started.
