Hello Local Guides, how are you all? I am back after a long time because it is time for celebration. On this special occasion, I would like to share with you my journey & what I have gained in my seven-year journey with Google Local Guide Bangladesh. So let’s start the story of my journey from the very beginning,

About my journey
Looking at my picture, you can easily understand how healthy and fat I am, which naturally requires a lot of eating. So about seven years ago, when I was a university student, I started eating out at restaurants regularly, with my own pocket money. One day, I saw a notification on my mobile. I had to upload the food photos I took on my mobile to Maps. At first, I uploaded them without thinking anything. Later, I got serious about it and started searching on Google. After learning the details, I started mapping seriously. Eventually, I saw that I was getting good feedback from people, that I could help people by uploading photos and reviews, which gradually became my passion. Currently, I am a part-time teacher, but I still try to do this work. The journey that started then is still ongoing and I hope this journey will continue in the future. Just a few years later, I found and joined the Bangladesh Local Guide Group. Now I will tell you about my achievements so far with this group.
My achievements
Firstly, the biggest thing I have gained through this is the way I can use my free time to help people. Although at first I used to contribute to maps as a hobby, gradually I started doing it seriously. After a few days, when I started getting feedback from people around me, the work took a deep place in my mind.

Secondly, through this organization, I have found many brothers, who have helped me in various ways in my life’s journey. Not only in the field of maps, they have helped me with various advice on various life-related topics at different times. Each of them has a very wonderful personality, which is impossible to understand unless you spend time with them.

Thirdly, through this organization, I have got the opportunity to travel to different places in the country at different times. Which I would never have been able to go alone. The experience I have gained from this place of traveling with complete strangers is one of the biggest achievements of my life. If I get a chance in the future, I will try to go more.
Finally, what cannot be ignored is that almost every time on various occasions, this organization gives out various kinds of gifts, souvenirs, t-shirts and other things. Which is a matter of luck to get. I have been selected among those lucky ones a few times.

Conclusion
For this, I am deeply thankful to everyone in this organization and I am forever grateful to Google Maps and the Local Guide Forum, who are at the core of it. I hope to be involved in it in the future as I have been for the past 7 years. By the way, Best wishes and greetings to the local guide connect on its very special day.
