The SLEEPING Waterfall (সুপ্তধারা ঝর্ণা)🏞

The fountain is located inside Sitakunda Eco Park. After entering the eco park you can leave by CNG or on foot. On the way to Suptadhara, the specialty of this road in Eco Park is that every now and then there are small poems or some meaningful special lines and warnings written on huge signboards.

It will take 25-30 minutes walk to reach the entrance of Suptadhara Jharna. About 422 steps have to be descended to the mouth of the mountain stream flowing from the main Suptadhara. Go down the stairs slowly and carefully. Don’t rush at all, it can be a little slippery on rainy days so it’s best to wear trekking shoes or shoes with more friction. Descend the stairs and start walking along the path on the left-hand side. Grow carefully and slowly. There are slippery rocks below. A total of one to one and a half hours of hard walking will bring the sound of the dormant stream from far away.

“There is no water in this spring during the rest of the year except during the rainy season.” So in the dry season, it will look like there is no water in the fountain from a distance. However, if you go near the fountain, you will see a little bit of water. This fountain is basically a combination of three fountains. If you come here during the monsoon, you will see the fountain full of water and enjoy the beauty of the fountain to the fullest. But the suitable time is the month of September i.e. at the end of the monsoon.

We love taking pictures on any tour, but that doesn’t mean you can enjoy being close to nature. So, after taking pictures, go to the fountain, close your eyes, and stand for a while, feel it. Respect the power of nature. :evergreen_tree: :herb:

You will come back the same way you went through the corridor. It will be a little difficult to climb up the stairs. There is a sitting place where you can sit up and eat dry food, of course, take enough water with you.

Note: Use a waterproof bag. Use three-quarters to walk along the trail, and be careful not to harm nature. Put bottles, packets of chips, etc. in the bag, Ecopark will get this garbage bin. Put it there later.

I see the way

I show the way.
