This is The Ruins in Talisay, Negros Occidental Philippines! The Taj Majal of Negros Island. This mansion was built during the 1900s on the 440 hectares of sugar cane field. It was told that Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson decided to build this mansion to show everyone how he loved and missed his wife Maria Braganza Lacson. His wife died because of a miscarriage while nearing full term of her 11th pregnancy. It was burned during the World War ll in 1942 by Filipino Guerrillas because the Japanese settled in the mansion.

@Jaymach_08 than you for sharing, it is great that such a nice place was restored to have an idea of how great it was.
Thanks for sharing @Jaymach_08 !
The house looks beautiful lit up by all the lights. I imagine how it could have been a great place for large formal parties back in the day.
Are the ruins open to the public now at any time?
@MortenSI , yes the ruins is open for public. From 8am to 8pm.
Hey @Jaymach_08
Thanks for sharing such lively pictures of ruins. I wonder how amazing the parties and functions would have been in the beautifully lit colourful gardens with all that jazz and life.
Thank you @Jaymach_08 .
Does it work more like a museum now, or is it possible to just bring a picnic basket and spend the day in the garden?
@MortenSI , yes it is open from 8am to 8pm. The place is like a small museum, and is also a venue for weddings and photo shoots.
I can easily imagine @Jaymach_08 ! This wouldn’t be the first place to have a wedding.
Thanks again for sharing!
