The Robotics Gallery - Science City, Ahmedabad

The Robotics Gallery is another one of the top attractions, along with the Aquatic Gallery at Science City, Ahmedabad.

Please read more about a delightful visit to India’s largest Aquatic gallery.

At the entrance to the Robotics Gallery, you’ll see Transformers and WALL-E’s robots, as well as Honda’s humanoid robot Asimo, which welcomes and guides visitors. The gallery features interactive exhibits that trace the history of robotics from 16th-century clock monks to today’s humanoid robots.

The exhibitions show how these machines have impacted people’s lives in fields such as medical surgery, rescue operations, and putting machines against humans.

Unmanned aerial vehicles and satellites, as well as robots and workshops constructed by the winning engineering business at Robo-Fest, are on display at DRDO and ISRO exhibitions. A second exhibit contains virtual and augmented reality spaces where visitors can put on VR goggles and experience an exciting ride, ring fight, or race car ride. There are five dancers, one drummer, one trumpetist, and one pianist among the robots in ‘Robo-Natya Mandap.’ Which is entertaining.

(The robot is dancing as well as playing music.)

The exhibit will have 79 different types of robots as well as robotics workshops intended to “offer visitors a platform to study the ever-evolving science of robotics.”

Robots to explore in the gallery:

  • Indian robotics
  • Defense/DRDO robots
  • Medical robots
  • Playing robots
  • Dancing robots
  • Agriculture robots

Other activities:

  • 3D printing and photos
  • Play games with robots
  • Commanding robots
