The possibility of adding a new category

Hey all, need some help with Google Maps categories. I’ve noticed there’s no direct Polish equivalent for a ‘nursery’ (żłobek), which is creating a mess. People are picking all sorts of random categories like:

  • Educational institution
  • Preschool
  • Preschool care
  • Child care agency

In Poland, a nursery (żłobek) is for children aged 0 to 3, while a preschool (przedszkole) is for children aged 3 to 6. Therefore, they are entirely different types of institutions.

Is there a way to suggest a new category in Polish to improve clarity and organization on Google Maps?

Hi

This is not easy. The list of categories is global with a translation into each language.

Instead of requesting a new category you are more likely to be successful by suggesting an existing category translated into Polish (if it is already not translated) or a translation of an existing category name in Polish to be modified.
