I must confess, I am an avid foodie. There. I said it. Now that the cat is out of the bag I have to wholeheartedly recommend a restaurant I tried not too long ago.
If you find yourself in the DC area, get a reservation, plan ahead this place is normally busy!, at the Little Pearl (921 Pennsylvania Ave SE, Washington, DC). The dinner tasting menu is 49$ and it is by far one of the best I’ve had since moving to the States. Very reasonable price for a 7 course meal, great cocktails and two pairing wine menus that are really amazing! Service is top notch, not at all pretentious. That’s my EXACT recipe for a good time!
