As a Google Local Guide, I left a review on a Google business page, but the page owner cannot see it. However, other visitors are able to see my review. How can I address this problem and ensure that the page owner is able to see my review?

As a Google Local Guide, when I review someone’s Google page, the page owner cannot see that review, but other visitors can. How can I resolve this problem?

The business owner can only reply to people if they have access to the page. Once they claim the business all reviews will be sent to them.

I don’t think I understand what the problem is because of a review or photo is private then only you as the owner can see it.
Now when only the buisness can’t see it,others and yourself can see it,that’s beyond my scope.
Meanwhile I see that you posted this on 2 separate boards. We don’t advise posting 2 or more similar or same post on connect. That could be termed spamming,which is not good for the forum. Anyways perhaps it was an error,I’ll merged them together. Please kindly take note,put up a post once and that will do.

Thank you for your response. Yes, I posted the same question in two different forums because I wanted to explain my issue in two different ways.
The problem I am facing is that when I leave a review on someone’s business page, the page owner is unable to see my review. I first encountered this issue on a friend’s page about a month ago, but didn’t think it was a big issue. However, yesterday, I left a review for a pharmacy and the owner informed me that they were also unable to see my review. I haven’t received any replies from business owners for my reviews yet. Can you suggest any solutions to this issue?

If you share the link to the review from a desktop, then we can check if the review is live or hidden.
Your profile is set to restricted. If you want help to spot what could be the cause, you need to change your privacy setting as explained here temporarily. It can also be done from a Desktop computer. Goto Your contributions, then Profile settings, then toggle Restricted profile.

The issue is not only with this review, but all of my reviews face the same problem. While I can get more views of my shared photos and videos from visitors, the page owner is not able to see my reviews.

Thanks for the link you shared. It is not working, but this could be due to all or some of your reviews being hidden.
Kindly follow my instructions on how to unrestrict your profile, then I can hopefully help you better.
Also, it would be very helpful if you would use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply. Just hitting Reply does not ensure we get notified by email.

@MortenCopenhagen He has made total 10 posts out of which 7 are about “owner can’t see my reviews”. He has posted it multiple times in various categories. The problem could have been looked after if at least other LGs get to see it but his profile is private so that can’t happen. He should provide some inputs other than just this title “owner can’t see my review”
things he can, do at least one of the followings.

Make profile public so that everyone can see it.

Paste the content of reviews here if he doesn’t want his profile go public.

Provide the link of POI he wrote review of. Let’s see if others can see it (as he claims) only owner can’t see it while he and others can.
