Siem Reap is famous for its world known temples: Angkor Wat or Bayon but there are much more to see or do than that. I have my previous articles on what to do besides the temple. This article is to share about the gallery belongs to the mad-man (he called himself) who has been collecting stuff for more than 20 years.
He is no doubt a crazy and enthusiastic person, hats-off to him for his zeal and perseverance to collect such unique and antique objects over a prolonged time and a huge thanks to you @Sophia_Cambodia for sharing such a delightful place with us. nice photos as always.
I especially like this place and the person since I woo like collecting such things though they are not so precious now, one day they will be
Thank you for sharing this great location and amazing photos with us.
Do you love old and vintage stuff? Was there a particular piece in the collection that really impressed you?
Personally, I love everything vintage! At home I have several old objects, but I don’t really keep them as a decoration, but rather made them functional. I’m sharing with you a photo of an old suitcase that I turned into a table.
@BorrisS interesting, the suitcase looks heavy but it is something I often see in the movies. Great that you still have it. Is it expensive and where do you find it?
I was impressed by the bicycle with such a big wheel, I wonder how people ride on it without falling down. He got many of them in his gallery.
Just amazing @Sophia_Cambodia . I just wonder where the owner found all these items and what motivates him in to collect such items in Cambodia. It’s good that entry fees are low but I wonder does he get enough visitors with such compelling Cambodian sites to visit such as Angkor Wat or Bayon?
@AdamGT it is true, I did not know about him when he was running this business in Phnom Penh for almost 5 years.
I have seen so many different things and I requested him to display Cambodian antique. He said his space now is very small and he already had that in mind.
Hola @Sophia_Cambodia leyendo tus publicaciones, algo atrasado.
