Millions of people travel all over the world. I decided to fly to Copenhagen by plane, since I had never flown before. The flight on the plane left an unforgettable impression and gave bright emotions. The trip to the hostel took me on the best metro in the world. The train is controlled automatically, and passengers can watch the movement through the windshield. The hostel where I stayed was very popular with tourists and was located in the heart of the city. The next day, I visited the new Carlsberg Glyptotek, a 10-minute walk from the hostel.
I really like paintings, so I visited the upper floor of the Museum to get acquainted with the works of impressianist - Manet, Pissarro, Renoir, Degas, Cezanne, post - impressianist - Vincent Van Gogh, Bonnard and Gauguin.
The most interesting thing I did in this city was to feel like a boy for a while. Once I got to the Lego store, I immediately wanted to assemble some kind of toy. A surprise was waiting for me at the end of the store, namely characters from the cult movie " Star Wars "
The city has locations for every taste. It is difficult to get around the Royal Rosenborg castle, the Christiansborg Palace, the citadel with an old windmill, the picturesque canal with houses on Nytorv square, the fantastic Tivoli entertainment Park, one of the grandest in Europe. In addition, it is here that you can see Copenhagen from a bird’s eye view, climbing the steep stairs to the top of the local Church.
Locals prefer bicycles, electric cars, or public transport. Alternative energy plays an important role in the lives of city residents. The city has an Amager Bakke incinerator on Amager island. The architects designed the roof at an angle of 45 degrees and a height of 85 meters, on which there is an artificial ski slope with a length of 450 meters and a 180-degree turn, pedestrian paths are laid, with bushes and coniferous trees planted around. Visitors go up the cable car and pedestrian route, as well as on the glass Elevator, which allows you to see the plant from the inside
In an attempt to develop environmental energy resources, Copenhagen receives wind power, for example from the neighboring Danish island of Samse. This island is a real inspiration for the Danish capital, as it has zero harmful emissions into the atmosphere, getting 100% of its electricity from wind.
Whether you are a supporter of a quiet holiday on the clean coast, an ardent visitor to noisy parties, traveling with friends or yourself-everyone will find their own place in the city of Copenhagen .This trip was very interesting and instructive for me.
