The most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide: Adding Roads in my village

First of all , I would like to say Google’s local guide service is a type of social service . The base of every social service there we can see someone’s ‘helping mentality’. The satisfaction which getting through by helping others is incalculable . I believe that, it shows humanity infront of world, because there is no discrimination against caste , race, religion ,region etc. There is only we consider as ‘human’.

I have been effectively engaging as local guide from last year only, the beginning I did not post any photos, videos did not even a single review. But later slowly I started putting photos and reviews to Googl map. I wonder ,those my activities helping poeple world wide, yes… I feel satisfaction .it brings to my face a smile?. I proud my self. Then I started frequently posting photos , videos, editing , review which I visited places.

I added almost 278 photos 26 videos to the google map. But the most intresting thing I have done as a local guide I added 6 Roads in my village. It was wonderful experience which I ever experienced in google map. We know it is difficult process also taking too much time to get approval from google’s side. but when I saw the notification which my Roads are published in google map , it is indescribable moment in my life?.

caption : The photo shows , the road which I added as latest, actually this road is only two metres width and not maintain properly , it lead to a small pond in my village.

So , now there is any problem affect my local story ?

Hi @Anas_Tharakan ,

I’ve noticed that your post has a Spanish language label, so I removed it. If you want to know more about the language labels I recommend you to read the article How do I find posts in my preferred language?

All should be fine now @Anas_Tharakan

One more thing which is quite important here on the forum: if you want to make sure that another Connect user sees a reply you give, make sure to ‘tag’ them by typing the ‘@’ symbol and then select that user from the list (or start typing the name if there is no list).
