It was really amazing when I was first known about the Google local guide. Initially I was not aware that what is Google local guide, I was just uploading the pictures and not aware what was the benefit of this. After some time, when I saw that there is level system and I upgraded to next level then found on google and understand that what Google local guide is? Now I am uploading the pictures and giving reviews of visited places. It is very interesting and helpful for the people.
I am living in Udaipur city which is located in Aravali range in Rajasthan state, India. Rajasthan is historical state and famous for the forts, palaces and its culture. In every villages and cities there are historical forts and palaces. Udaipur is the most beautiful tourist city and there are lots of places which is to be discovered.
Wildest dream:- I visited Mount Abu with my family in 2018. Mount Abu is beautiful hill station located in Rajasthan state. When we returned from Gurushikhar on the way we found a very peaceful and calm place which is The Wildest Dream. We stopped here and found that no one comes here but it is a great cool and calm place. We were among their first customers for that day. There was small lake and very small restaurant. We stay there approximate 2 hours and taken food. I uploaded some pictures on Google and after some time found that there were more than 10 thousand views. I hope it was benefited for this place and people visited the wildest dream. I think we have made a big impact through the Google local guide for this place.

Hotel Basant Residency
I often drop my younger daughter to Elite Smart School on Mavli Road, Dabok, Udaipur. Once as advised by School management that we can pick up the ward in next 1 hour. I with my wife have to spend 1 hour somewhere so we stopped the car at a small tea vendor cum small restaurant. It was Hotel Basant Residency located near the state highway. I saw that the location was nice and hotel was fairly maintained so I added the picture in Google Map. Now just few days ago I was passing through the place and I saw that Hotel Basant Residency has converted to big Hotel and a OYO company has hired the hotel and it is running good. The viewers of the pictures is also more that 12K. It’s one thing to add a picture on Google Maps witnessing that businesses achieve success adds another dimension to the good feeling I get when I contribute.
Reviews & videos:- I often upload the pictures and post some reviews on local Google maps. It is very interesting and I think this is good for the people who book hotels and visit new places. Adding places is new for me but this is also very interesting and beneficial for the peoples who are unknown with the area. Overall, connect with the Google local guide is too important for me because this is just a personnel diary in which the places we have visited is safe and need not required to remember the date and other think. It is always available in your smart phone. In addition, it improves the services also because many business owners know that the importance of Google rating for their business. For example one of restaurants owner near my home is giving 10% discount on total bill if customer gives the 5 star rating on Google Map to his restaurant. That mean if we upload pictures and giving reviews, the business owner will always try to improve his good services.
