The most interesting thing I did as a Local Guides: Uploading photos

Before I got to know a local guide, my goal was to take landscape photos in a place only for private collections. I did not know that the photos I took could be of benefit to people around, even the whole world by uploading photos to Google maps. Uploading photos on Google Maps is a way to make an impact on a place, be it a tourist attraction, school, restaurant, building or other. By uploading these photos, I can help business owners and people who want to know pictures of the place.

Until now the photos I uploaded have been viewed more than 2,500,000 times. Knowing that my contribution on Google Maps can help others is a pride for me. This is one of the photos I uploaded and my personal impact :

Al Hikmah Islamic Boarding School: I made a big impact by adding a few photos from various points of view at Al Hikmah Islamic Boarding School. My most viewed photos in this place are more than 72,000 and 22,000. I am very happy to take photos and upload photos in this place, because I want to help people who are looking for photos of buildings or the atmosphere in this place, both from active students, alumni, and people who have never been to this place before.

I am happy to be able to contribute on Google Maps. Uploading photos from various points of view is the most interesting thing I do as a Local Guides.

Hello @Najib_Ibrahim you might have wondered what happened to the first post you wrote, as that all of a sudden disappeared, right? Well, actually, it was accidentally caught in our spam filter (which is quite strict out here). I have now released it and merged it with your other post, to avoid that your Connect account would get flagged as spammer.

The result is that the content of your first post is now added as a comment to your second post. If you want, you can remove the content of that comment by clicking the ‘…’ at the bottom of the comment and then simply removing the content there (or replace it with something like “content removed as it was an accidental duplicate”).

You can’t delete it @Najib_Ibrahim , you have to edit it and remove the content of that comment.
