The Most Educative Photography Workshop by Canon at NAFTI

Canon workshop participants have complained of how difficult it is to find the venue (NAFTI Campus) of the workshop they are taking part in, due to lack of sign posts indicating where the institute is located.

The Canon workshop which started on Monday, 11th March this year, has seen participants from various walks of life who are taking part in the workshop to build their photography skills.

However, these participants have complained bitterly on the issue of the ease in finding the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) which has been the official venue for this workshop since 2016. This the participants attributed to the lack of sign posts as well as wrong directions given by the some security personnel stationed at the studios of the institute.

A participant of the workshop, Kwaku Oppong said that “I got a taxi to the NAFTI hostel but the driver was as confused as I was” indicating how commercial drivers face the same issue. He added that “if this building belongs to NAFTI and it is not rented and has nothing to show this is the NAFTI hostel, then it is bad, something should be done about it”

Meanwhile, the Trainers of trainers workshop has began to equip trainers with necessary skills to impact young photographers and filmmakers.
