The Mimosa one kind of Shrub: লজ্জাবতী/ Lajjābatī

The Mimosa also one kind of annual shrub, can be seen growing around the house and in the forest. In Bengali it is called লজ্জাবতী/ Lajjābatī ; it is also called Lajuk Lata or Anjalikarika. It grows very well in Bangladesh and many parts in South Asia. Now a day’s many people plant this tree at flowers tub for beautification; it has also medical benefit since ancient days.

## The mimosa trees and flowers looks so beautiful; as soon as someone touches by hand or feet the leaf of the tree it is like falling asleep, it seems that the leaf is ashamed. The leaves much looks like tamarinds leaves.## ## There are few mimosas also grown in our garden, so it would like to share with other Local Guides.
