Last week I and my husband visited Lisbon. We spent some fantastic days in this colourful city. Lisbon is amazing. The old cobblestone narrow streets, colourful houses, graffiti and delicious food will stay long time in my heart. I felt in love with Lisbon. It was my first visit but it will not be the last one.
The first day we visited the old district of Belem. The old tower of Belem and The Monument to the Discoveries are maybe the most famous architectural points in Lisbon.
There are a lot of things you can do in Lisbon. You can catch the yellow tram 28 that crosses the city centre passing by many of Lisbon’s main attractions or visit city centre and The Commerce Square. You also can go to St. George Castle .The castle stays of the most hightest hill in the city.
The other breath taking point in Lisbon is the Christo Rai . We took the ferry from Lisbon’s port across the River Tejo to Cacilhas port and took a taxi to the iconic Portugal statue where we found incredible views over the city and the bridge.
In Cacihas we made a short walk along river Tejo after passing lots of ruinous warehouses painted with amazing graffites.
One of the days we visited, Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca.
Cape Cabo da Roca is the most western point of Continental Europe.
Cascais is a traditional and charming Portuguese fishing town.
In Sintra we visited Pena Palace – a colorful fairytale castle. The castle stands on top of the tallest hill.
It is one of the most popular sights in Sintra and for good reason.
The other charming castle in Sintra is Monserrate Palace*.*
