Well, while zooming out from your profile on the Google maps, there are very good chances that you end up seeing the other Google guides just like you. A meetup or a platform regarding the same is the connect live.
Honestly, it was an immense joy when I knew that I can make it to Hyderabad connect as my contributions could not take me to the Annual event in USA in 2019.
The venue is something exciting to speak of. Located in the heard of the city, one of the iconic buildings where surrounding views make you feel special when you look into them. The sight of Hyderabad’s very own Hussain sagar lake from THE PARK is something you can stick to for hours.
The session started with lunch, with a mix of cuisines from India, whilst keeping the local flavor intact. Started off to the ball room on time, Tiffany took the lead to start the connect. A brief about the statistics of the people collectively in the invitees are some mind boggling figures to hear. It always feels great and overwhelmed when some one recognizes your efforts, isn’t it?
As we took off to the panel meeting, I have chosen to be a part of the Session #1 which spoke about on “Improving google maps”, with Tiffany being the host. Every part of the discussion is threw me a new note where the other google guides are experiencing and equally me contributing to the community. Back, again there are refreshments waiting for us, but this time, I am hardly able to pick in the range of choices. They are simply insane!
Then again a panel discussion of the community people who are the masters of this region showed us what can else be done. By this time in the refreshments and breaks, I got to know a bunch of people and Thanks to Aslam, who pushed to maximum people about the whats app group of Hyderabad’s Local Guides.
Then came the dinner time, which means the end is near.
After collecting my tokens from Google and the company of people around, The Google’s party has come to an end. The key point which I drove home is, I met people of different languages, cultural backgrounds and professions. This is the conjunction point for all the Hyderabadi Local Guides. Just imagine the cool factor you carry on when you are closely associated with different teams of Google.
