The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall, a must do if visiting China. The wall is quite close to the capital Beijing. The great wall is divided into three portions, my chinese girlfriend suggested that I go to the Mutianyu portion as it was the least popular one. I was really in awe when I arrived and even more when I started walking on it! I went there in January 2018, thus why the trees were not green yet.

I did not use a drone; I was simply on a higher mountain (still on the wall) which shows how impressive the build is.

Yes like you I was in awe when I saw and walked on the great Wall of China. It is well one of the most amazing manmade structures that I’ve seen.

How did you reach the high mountain? On foot, or Is there a cable car service?

Hi @C_T ! It was on foot to reach the higher mountain (quite exhausting honestly). There is a cable car service to go from the ticket office to the wall though, and they also have a slide to go down.
