A huge warm welcome to Team Google to their spotlight week!! This is a great start and I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the week!! I am also loving the creative engagements (I’m going to copy some of the ideas for future initiatives! ).
Thanks so much for joining in the fun!! When you asked me if Team Google could join in the spotlight, I was actually quite embarrassed because for all the brainstorming that I did, I had not actually thought of Team Google making a fantastic community to showcase! So, yeah, it’s definitely been a win-win situation for all!
Needless to say, I think the whole community will be thrilled to see all the answers given by the various Googlers!

Once again thank you, @AdrianLunsong, for this wonderful initiative. The Spotlight series has definitely brought us closer as a community.
Seeing Kerala, India in the list of dream destinations made me especially happy. I’m excited to share that the India Local Guides community is organizing a Mega Meet-up in Kochi, Kerala on 25th January. Some of us are planning to stay there for an entire week, exploring Kochi’s heritage, backwaters, culture, and local cuisine—making it a perfect mix of learning, contribution, and community bonding.
All of you are cordially invited to join us in Kochi. A big thanks to @TravellerG, @Rahul001, @SarathUpendran and the entire team for helping make this a budget-friendly destination, so we can stay longer and enjoy more together.
And on a lighter note —
I was surprised to see that @Julie_A mentioned herself as a Level 7 Local Guide. If I were in her place, I would have declared myself Level 10! After all, 6 + 5 = 11, and Level 11 doesn’t even exist!
