Same here. The German translation of the notification (" … folgendes wurde entfernt …") is a bit misleading, though.
Mine are gone too as of this morning. No more bots.

Additionally, I will merge your post with The Follow feature on Maps is going away since it’s on the same topic.
I’m glad it’s gone. I dont post while I’m anywhere due to safety reasons and that feature made it harder and I didnt post as much because I would forget and delete old photos. It was a step closer to people knowing where you were last if you weren’t smart with it.
I actually had someone walk up to me once and ask a question about my update when I changed the entrance somewhere. Seems innocent but it’s not.
