The ferris wheel in the Vienna Prater at the time of corona

The Prater in Vienna is an amusement park with many traditions and that gives Vienna also a nice charm.

Where the official website says as follows:
“A fascinating world awaits visitors and guarantees entertainment for both young and old. Full of turbulent roller coasters, spooky ghost trains, and attractions of all sorts - there is hardly any other place in the world to challenge your senses in this intoxicating way. Time flies here while spending a few pleasurable hours with your family, enjoying the Prater highlights, or just having dinner with friends. Have fun and enjoy – this is the Prater’s motto!”

The amusement park also holds a Farris Wheel which even though the park is empty and nonfunctional because of the corona crisis its lights still light up. with many different colors and still giving the park a sole.

This park usually is 24h, all year open with many attractions and fun for people but since it can’t function at this time people naturally are not visiting the Prater to have fun. But because the amusement park is also a nice place to go for a walk there are still some that use its streets for having a quick run or just for a walk at the night lights of the park. Which I also did and took some pictures for you guys to enjoy.

I hope you too like these pictures and the color of the wheel, I soon will publish other pictures as well of the park with more information hopefully what is nice to know about it.

It’s so nice they lite up the wheel, even though one can not use it. I liked being there once as a tourist. Thanks for the photos @KushR . And yes, even just walking around is great. I can recommend going there also as a tourist.
