Monochromatic images or black and white pictures are still photographs shot with just a single color and its shade.
Such pictures always strike me and they are always stunning and appealing to the eyes despite being devoid of popping colors.
My favorite color is black, even though some members of my family and friends think this is weird. I have even been in prolonged arguments about if black itself is a color (that would be a story for another time). Maybe my soft spots for black is the reason why I see such beauty in monochromatic images.
Having be a hobbyist photographer thanks to Local Guides Connect and Google Maps, I challenged myself to capture black and white images and showcase it, so as to coerce other people to see the beauty of this type of photographs.
So far, I have been able to come up with hundreds of monochrome images of landscapes, landmarks, nature etc.
