The Export of tiles is also grown to 30 to 40 percent as the quality provided by Morbi tiles manufacture is according to the requirement of the International market. Quality control as per international standards.
Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, USA, Mexico, Brazil, UAE, Nepal, Kenya, Qatar, Kuwait, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Oman, Yemen, Sri Lanka, and South Africa are the countries where the ceramic products are majorly exported from India.
Morbi is 230 km from Ahmadabad. The nearest airport is 65 km at Rajkot and 250 km from Ahmadabad. The nearest railway station is wankaner of Morbi district around 30 km.
Today there is a significant development of Morbi due to rapid urbanisation, newer machinery, and technology up upgraded.
These factors have helped to become India as one of the leading countries in the ceramic tiles industry and Morbi called the Ceramic City of India.

My father was born in Kutiyana Gujrat and we are from Memon community living in Karachi. And I know many people in Karachi who are from Morbi Tankara Memon Jamat, migrated from your city a long ago, even we have a graveyard with the name of Morbi Tankara Qabristan in Karachi, so probably you know the area name Tankara in Morbi, and still there are memons who have Morbi Tankara Memon Community hall in Morbi Gujrat.

Awesome, thanks for sharing beautiful post here in Mumbai we get beautiful tiles specially some dealers say it good yes the quality is good , I have in my kitchen more then 21 years old still very nice. As new it looks. Now days they have wide range. My nephew has put in living room beautiful.
