The best traveling Little Ant (Hormiguita) cooking

My name is Bilma Gonzalez I am 60 years old, I have been a local guide for 4 year.

I live in the city of Isidro Casanova, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I love sharing photos and places on Google Maps, which I know can help others. To find beautiful places of my beautiful country.

Sharing with others make me fell happy, because we can leave a better world.

I want to share the first picture I take to google.

My Place in the World- Villa Gesell, Buenos Aires, Argentina

This beautiful tree is in the centre of Villa Gesell, it is the only one in the commercial centre. It is typical tree, all those who once went to Villa Gesell know it. I love this place that mixes nature and city, I know that I will live some day in Villa Gesell.

I uploaded this photo without knowing what destiny it was to be a Local Guide Level 7, those things in life!

Argentina has beautiful places to travel, and do activities that I really enjoy, for example, cooking in remote places like Patagonia. I had the opportunity to get to know the Andes Mountains in Argentina.

Places that as a common tourist I would not have known. But as Little ant chef I could see different locations and landscapes day by day I felt so grateful to see such beautiful places.

Maybe seeing such a pot, they get scared.

I am not afraid, the passion and love that I offer when cooking is the same if it is for 80 people or just for me.

Menu: Lentil stew.

I think that every minute you must enjoy it to the fullest. With joy, enthusiasm, good vibes to make this world better.

We take nothing from this world, but we can reflect optimism and light, so we can help others and leave our mark on them.

It’s never too late to be surprised by the colour of the snow resting on the green - Alto Rio Percy, Chubut, Argentina

Traveling to Patagonia with my 50 years showed me that it is never too late in life to live it. I remember that on Monday I cooked for a group of Italian tourists. The menu was Bife (Steak) de Chorizo with baked potatoes. Typical food in Argentina on a Sunday when there is no barbecue person assigned.

One of the clients did come to the kitchen, he told me that the food was delicious, two minutes later he did start to sing a song for me, the song called O sole mio (Luciano Pavarotti).

That was one of the most beautiful gifts I had in my life. That thing happens when you cook amazing Bife de Chorizo Argentino!

The cowgirl in the lost town – The Andes, Patagonia, Argentina

My place that day to cook was a small ranch made of veneers and wood. Very precarious, I freaked a little, but I thought, I could do it, I had the ingredients, I had fire, and I had the joy of cooking as a cowgirl!

I put on my clothes, prepare my ingredients and please, call me: Bilma Cassidy

“More than one sigh after eating the delicious dish”

A forest of Refrigerator for me – La Torta (cake) hills, Patagonia, Argentina.

TOMATOES IN THE SNOW: Keeping vegetables or fresh food in a field kitchen is difficult. But when nature helps you, you have the best fridge.

My last day, but I will back - The Andes, Patagonia, Argentina

The last day I had to show off and cook some piglets to the stake.

My companion of adventures in the kitchen is the pleasant, generous and authentic Liria.

Menu: A classic, the classics never fail! It’s like a good black dress for a party.

We marinated the meat the night before, and then cooked the meat over a slow, careful fire.

I feel like the richest woman on this planet when I can travel within my possibilities. I have many photos to share, I’ve been uploading them to Google Maps.

I would like to be able to transmit to you, the joy that gives me the power to serve others, because the fact of traveling and showing those places that we enjoy is the reason that I am passionate about being a LOCAL GUIDE. A vocation of service that moves me to upload my photos so that I can be useful to other people.

The fact of having been hired to cook in a campaign kitchen for a film set, for me it was an unforgettable experience, allowed me to receive as a Little ant CHEF.

And for the end I want to tell you my most recent adventure, to know New Zealand.

Here also cook, for my daughter and family. But they did not take any pictures of me.

At my 60 years, it was my greatest adventure, a country that is 16000 km from my home, that speaks another language and has another culture. My first plane trip with 13 hours of non-stop flight.

My eldest daughter resides there, and I had to travel for her wedding.

A country full of incredible beauties, I visited part of the north island in the Bay of Plenty region, but next time I will travel more, it was little time that I was there.

Another of my passions is watching movies one of my favourites was “The Lord of the Rings” so my daughter prepared the surprise tour to HOBITTON. It was such a beautiful experience that I enjoyed it a lot, walking through the filming set was like feeling inside the movies.

My five minutes of fame as the cook of the region- Hobbiton, Matamata, New Zealand

Beautiful waterfalls Huka Falls when I find this wonder, I feel so small, of course if I’m little ant! There are so many places full of life that never cease to amaze me.
