Hello!
I want to tell you another place that worth to visited while you are in Indonesia, especially in East Java.
This one is a beautiful beach at Jember, east Java, locals call it Papuma Beach.
Papuma Beach located in Jember Regency, East Java province, Indonesia.
It is almost 40km aways from Jember City.
There is no public transportation to this beach, so better you rent a motorcycle or car from Jember City before.
The road to this beach is not hard to be passed by matic motorcyle, so it’s okay to rent matic motorcycle.
The ticket to enter this beach cost Rp40.000,- (in rupiah) per person or about $2.84 (in usd), not include parkir ticket (cmiiw). Papuma Beach is actually an area, consisting of beaches, cottage, even pagoda.
It exist with some beach but the famous one is the white sand beach.
At Papuma beach there are also fishermen who set sail so that you will see a number of fishing boats along the coast. There is a big rock at this beach and some of the rock have a plant on it.I don’t know is it a rock or already another island but this rock is so unique, I also not sure is this two rocks have a name or not because I’m just local tourist there.
You can see this rock from the white sand beach area.
There is also another unique area that have a big rock but locals called it “Gunung Kajang” or “Kajang Mountains”. I know the name because it listed on the Papuma Area’s Map.
This Gunung Kajang is so beautiful, you can walked to this area but a little bit dangerous, just make sure when you way closer to the Gunung Kajang, the beach is receding.
At the area of Papuma, it still exist some monkey and make sure you don’t bother them.
If you’re tired you can have a meal at this beach beacuse there are restaurant here.
Even if you want to stay a night at this beach it available a cottage, and trust me the cottage already good enough to stay, and the price not so cheap for locals, it cost about Rp500.000,- (in rupiah) pernight, or about $35.55 (in usd).
Tourism in Indonesia is never end, there are still many beautiful place here. I will try to share as much as I can and please make sure you have a schedule to can see what I already see.
See ya in Indonesia!
