Nowadays, the natural place becomes a special location for the majority of people, for refreshing their minds.
As a rural developer living in the capital city to work, I faced difficulties living in crowded cities.
Urban living causes stress, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. I wasn’t able to enjoy doing anything there.
My friends always make jokes about rural areas like “There is nothing to do there, don’t you feel bored ?”.
I don’t, of course I don’t, there is no way to be bored in a place as beautiful as my hometown (rural areas).
Here, it was necessary to look for a way to show them the beauty of my hometown and how I enjoy spending time there.
I decided to collect photos of traditional places there and add more places on the map and that’s how I discovered the local guide community.
I think the most interesting thing I have done as a local guide is to share traditional places to visit in North Lebanon (Akkar) that people don’t know about.
People started asking me questions about Akkar and how we can visit these beautiful places.
