What a stunning capture of Masjid Al Mustafa @ZH_EMON ! The intricate details and that calming symmetry really draw the eye. I’ve never been to Dhaka, but your post gives a strong sense of the architectural grace the city holds. Places like this aren’t just structures—they speak to the spirit of the community. Thanks for sharing this gem!

A meetup of ‘Bangladesh Local Guides’ was organized in the area next to this mosque. At that time, I saw this mosque from the main road. From a distance, this mosque seemed quite attractive. Thank you for sharing the picture of this mosque. Anyway, Can you share more information about this mosque with us?

@Designer_Biswajit Yes, I was in that meet-up which was my first meet up that I participated.

By the way, I am sharing something about Masjid Al Mustafa
This mosque’s architecture is inspired by the Holy Kaba featuring a black exterior adorned with golden inscription names of Allah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is a five story building with maximum natural light without traditional windows. Most interesting part is that worshippers can see Imam during prayers from every floor. The accomodation for worshippers are about 11,000 at a time which is quite massive in quantity. Besides, there’s a prayer area for women, wheelchair accessible entry, wudu(ablution) facility in Basement. Beside stairs, it has two escalators and lifts too. Floor carpets are imported from China and has a beautiful chandelier at the entrance of the mosque. 105 cars can park on Basement at a time. Its construction cost is about 3 billion BDT.

the mosque is very beautiful @ZH_EMON. Usually around the mosque there are many street vendors who sell halal food. Is it the same there?

@BudionoS not exactly, but during Jummah Prayer (Friday) some street hawkers sell islamic traditional goods

The picture taken at night looks really beautiful @ZH_EMON Bhai.

Al Mustafa Mosque is a very beautiful and iconic mosque. Last year, Kamal Bhai and I prayed together in this mosque. Suddenly, by coincidence, the two of them met. We had a great time that day. If you want, you can see some pictures of that day from this post.
