The Beautiful Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens in Autumn

The Alfred Nicholas Memorial Garden, located in Sherbrooke, Victoria, Australia, is the original garden of the historic Burnham Beeches estate, known for its extensive water features. Take a leisurely stroll along the many linking paths beneath the towering Mountain Ash trees and enjoy the scenic views of the garden. During autumn, the garden is particularly stunning with the foliage of maples, beech, and the famous golden ginkgos on the lake. The walking trails will lead you through this picturesque, wooded garden park where you can admire the boathouse, waterfalls, and tiny islands.

Alfred Nicholas, along with his brother George, was the inventor of the first Australian aspirin and named it Aspro. The garden also features Burnham Beeches, a mansion built for Nicholas. Don’t miss the chance to visit this charming garden and experience its natural beauty.

Hello @EwanArnolda , thank you for sharing these pictures.

First of all, these are some spectacular pictures. I love the vibrant colors and the overall exposition of them. Did you use any post-processing on them? Do you know any other beautiful places like this in the vicinity of Sherbrooke?

Hey @Lukas_1 I shoot all my photos in RAW. So when I run the image through Adobe camera raw I boot the colors a bit.

Sherbrooke is part of the Dandenong Ranges so you got Puffing Billy, 1000 steps, Mount Dandenong Observery https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/Beautiful-Nature-Views-from-Mount-Dandenong-Observatory/td-p/3576859.
