The Amazing & unlimited VIEW, ridding on " El Teleferico de Santo Domingo" Dominican Republic

Its my second time ridding on the cableway of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I didn’t rode on it because i was going somewhere, i rode on it because i want to see this part of the city from above. Its an amazing view, an unlimited joy of beautiful site and view below you. As you ride, you reflect on so many things, you think and analize your life While riding, infact new ideas and solutions to lifes problems can be found while riding on the cableway. When you see those views, it helps you to realise that your position is better than so many people not only in Dominican Republic but all over the world. You will be surprised on the distance of this cableway. It was done to reach out to the remote and poor area of the city which is usually refere as “Bario” in spanish language. They have ease of movement to their destinations on time.

The view is spectacle, nothing to compare with it, therefore come and ride with us, you will not regrete it.

What a view @keleche . I personally like this kind of cable cars (telefericos). How long is the trip?

I recently went to the highest peak in the Balkans called Musala and the beginning of the journey you take this cable cars. It’s about 5km the distance and 25min more or less the trip.

I am so glad to hear from you @felipept. I don’t really know how long in km this cable is. But it has about 5 stations where people stops by to connect to the next one. Ots really long enough and it will take you about 30min or more for the whole run. Its not very high or near the mointains as you can see on the photos. It runs above a small town or part of santo Domingo mostly the poor areas. Its well done and the view is spectacular. I usually ride it on the afternoon time when there are no too much people and it helps me to always reflect and think about new ideas. You feel like you are away from problems and noisy car on the road. Its a great feelings. I love it.

Wow that’s so amazing @keleche , Is it a short of a metro that connect one part of the city to the other?

Its a form of metro that connects the remote part of santo domingo to the district national. The cable car also connects to the main metro train station and that will take you to the district national and university zone.
