The all time crowded temples of India

Sharing photos and reviews on Google Maps are more like sharing opinions, ascertained facts which gives me the satisfaction of serving public. Apparently I am more into history and geography, likes to know the mythological stories, development of places, food habits of the local, languages and culture. I found this as a beautiful platform to share the collections I make of the places I visit which shall be a knowledge sharing, which can be accessed by other people who are also keen in learning them.

Especially I cover temples or temple aided private rooms most of the times, then I capture the peculiar details of that place which make them singular and unique. Among my collections I choose the pictures and definitions missing out of the present details and photos of that place, which defines the daily activities, special events, rituals of temples, and definitions of carvings on temple walls etc. and upload them to their feature groups.

Any history lover would get an idea of the temple , its mythological stories, who craves to know about it.

For an instance, I uploaded the exterior of temple, amenities around the temple for public like hotels and room photos, So as the devotees get the idea of status of hotel around the temple and their availability during festive seasons.

I feel very proud and overwhelmed when I receive good responses, views on my contribution and their acknowledgement. I get the satisfaction that I have reach out to many of the public and helping them indirectly through Google Maps.

Vidhya Shankara Temple, Sringeri, Karnataka.

Hi @Naveen_Gowda thanks for telling us about your contributions. Hopefully the hotel photos are on the hotel on Maps and not on the temple :).
