The 30 Days #30 Reviews Challenge by Adrian

This challenge was launched by Adrian and for some good reason, I decided to participate, maybe because I am really fond of Adrian, or because I thought it was doable, or because I had a backlog of unwritten reviews or because Adrian made me realize in some good way that my love for contributing must not die.

Well, I did it! And I am happy to announce that I aced the challenge.

So, this is a long list of the places I reviewed;

  1. Uncle Stan’s food . Here is my review

  29. 242 Colours Shopping Mall. Here is my review
  30. St.Rita’s Park. Here is my review

Lessons from my Reviews;

  1. Google will request an update to review of some places e.g. The review for Amel Susan is an updated review
  2. Never conclude that a place is already on Map just because it is a very popular place in the vicinity. Also, never conclude that a place is not on Map just because it is in a remote location. This I noticed for; Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation(Kaaf), I never thought it would be on Map until I tried to add it and realized that; it was the location that was wrong, all I had to do was; move the map marker to the correct location.
  3. Apart from the regular ratings, where you can give 5-star, 4-star, etc. For every P.O.I., for some specific places; like very big international hotels, there are extra rating boards provided; rating for rooms, for service, etc. I noticed that for Sheraton Lagos Hotel
  4. There is no rule that says; ‘you cannot be the first to write a review of a place even if you added it’, in fact, there is a reward for it!
  5. Just because a place is not Wheelchair-accessible or lacks wheelchair-accessible features does not make it have less than a 5-star rating. The accessibility :wheelchair: issues can be noted at the end of the review
  6. Just because a seller was very nasty towards you and you got very poor service does not automatically qualify them for a 1 star rating. So many other things could be checked
  7. Finally, just because you go through a place to access another place, does not mean you should mismatch reviews. This is the case with the Napex Car Park , most of the reviews for the car park are actually for the Ferry Port Jetty which is less reviewed.

Most favorite place

My most favorite of all the places I listed will be; Tarkwa Bay Beach . Why? I had a very poor opinion of the place due to the very bad reviews I have read about the place and the unflattering pictures I have seen but what I experienced got me really emotional. I will sure tell you all about it some day. It is quite unlike every other Beach in Nigeria.

About this Challenge

I think other people should bring up such healthy challenges as this, for our community, that makes us go back to the drawing board. Well done, Captain @AdrianLunsong

I know you are not a snob, right? So, I never took it personal that you did not reply, i read the sum up you made after the challenge and I just believed you were overwhelmed with mentions and tags that you somehow missed this.

Thanks for the challenge, once again…

I enjoyed it, thoroughly

Yes my friend @Ewaade_3A :green_heart:

I made the #Halloween Connect Post challenge and kicked it off with my story about Goldfield Ghost Town in Arizona.

Today, I posted another article about Halloween, sharing about the Arizona State Fair.
