The 3 best dishes I tried in Japan

@SuzanneN @Ivi_Ge

If I choose the famous beer in Japan, I choose Kirin Ichiban-Shibori  Of course, Yebis and The Premium Malt’s also nice!

Hey @SuzanneN , the Japanese beers are really good and the taste of them is different for me. I know that Japan has been using yeast and rice to make flavorful, high quality beverages for hundreds of years.

@Ivi_Ge , thank you for sharing. Very interesting. About the Ramen I know. This noodle is popular not only in Japan. But I’ve heard about Okonomiyaki at first time.

@Ivi_Ge I never tried Sushi Maru before. Will need to check it out next time I’m back in Tokyo! Whenever I have a layover on Tokyo, I usually extend my stay 1-2 days so I can explore the city a bit. Recently, I got pretty good deals for hotels in Ginza, which is only around 10 minutes walk to Tsukiji Fish Market, so it’s very convenient

@HiroyukiTakisawa Ohhh I just remembered about the gyutan! Was it from this place - http://www.negishi.co.jp/US/locations.html ? I remember I ate gyutan at one of their locations in Tokyo before

And looking at your unaju picture, it reminds me of the while eel I got on my recent stay in Tokyo as well. So delicious!

Hi. @Ivi_Ge

I’m sorry. Because I am not good at English, I am using Google translation.

Hiroshima style okonomiyaki, it looks delicious!
We also recommend “MONJA YAKI” as a soul food in Tokyo downtown.

Tsukishima of Tokyo has many specialty stores of this “MONJA YAKI”.

The appearance at the time of completion is not so good, but the taste is very tasty and the part that got crisp is recommended.

Although it is not a grocery store, we also recommend a special sweets shop for children “DAGASHI Store”.

50 years ago, “MONJA YAKI” was offered at ”DAGASHI Store" : --)

That Gyutan shop is Rikyu (利休). This shop is one of the famous Gyutan shops in Sendai. There are some shops in Tokyo as well

The photo of eel menu looks so delicious and beautiful! I became to want to eat eel again in this year.

Hi, @KOBAYASHI_Jun

I think that Monja is a very unique and difficult food for abroad people. But I hope them to try it at least one time. It will become an interesting experience.

Of course, I love it

Hey @KOBAYASHI_Jun ,

Thank you for sharing with others Mondja yaki. I like it too. Last year when I was in Tokyo I ate Mondja yaki in Tsukishima restaurant. It was really yummy and Mondja yaki taste’s was different from that of the Okonomiyaki.

Hi, @Ivi_Ge

Can you read and write Japanese? Japanese is difficult because it also has hiragana, katakana and kanji😵

Even Japanese, Japanese language is very difficult😅

I have stayed in Fukuyama city for a while at work. There were lots of sightseeing spots such as Fukuyama castle:japanese_castle:, it was a very nice place:blush:Fukuyama city is hotter than Hokkaido, so beer drunk in beer garden was very delicious:beer::yum::sparkles:

Hey @EdoMac , Yes I can read and write in Japanese, and I know how difficult is Japanese language, maybe the most difficult one. I was starting to learn it when I was 15th and I am learning new words and kandji every day.

Fukuyama is a really nice place, I like the city a lot. Did you know that Fukuyama and one Bulgarian city - Kazanlak are sister cities (姉妹都市)?
