This Thanks giving, I want to share a heartwarming moment that made me even more grateful for my incredible mom. She had got the chance to meet the legendary Chefs Vikas Khanna , Kunal and Sanjeev Kapoor.In 2012 at Star plus Master Chef.

After 3 round she was selected.What we didn’t know at the time was that she went just to share her amazing Rajma recipe with them. She quiet the show.

When they tasted it, they absolutely loved it. Vikas Khanna even called my mom ‘Biji,’ and Sanjeev Kapoor was thrilled to enjoy her cooking.

This legacy of cooking was passed down to her from my grandma, whom we lovingly called ‘Pabiji.’ She taught my mom, and my mom taught me. Today, I’m passing on this tradition to my daughter, as she learns to make rajma from me. The legacy of our family’s cooking continues to thrive

Mom, your passion and love for cooking inspire me. She is 80 plus but still love to go kitchen cook food for us specially when my children are around her.

Mother is the only living person in the world who could know us the best and can love us the most.

I & my brother, sister had ask her about her date of birth she said we never asked our parents such questions

My Mom doesn’t know her birthday so when her passport was made the officer asked she said I don’t know date of birth & Year so he said your sikh so 13 th April is your birthday ,I ,my brother and sister, we celebrate her birthday on 13 th April..

How much old you are, you are under your mother’s presence.

This is in continuation of @RosyKohli ma’am post to write about mother before mother’s day. Thanks ma’am for asking to write about Mother. Mother is always there in our hearts and so we are. Always mothers think of their children only.

My mother always tell I resemble my grandma. Below are the pictures of my mother and grandmother.

I wanted to write the post on a later day. I don’t want to postpone writing about Mother. So immediately writing this post. I am grateful to my mother and everyone should be grateful for the sacrifices of mother. Always she thinks of me and I can tell except mother no one can do this. I have learnt so much from her and always follow whatever I have learnt from her. As a good daughter I must be helpful to her throughout my life. She is my savior, she is my wellwisher. She corrects me when required.

I am also grateful to this Local Guides Community, where I got to interact with many graceful Local Guides who are like my mother. I have learnt much from those Local Guides how to contribute to the society. Thanks to all of them.

The following is the poem, I dedicate to my mother.

HUNDRED PERCENT DUTIFUL MOTHER

Mother carry her children in her heart and soul,
No other person in the world could be parallel.

She always bestows her blessings on us,
Always pray to God for our safely first.

My mother tells me that, I am her mother,
How could I accept that I am equal to her?

My mother’s mother I remember has a good health,
So is my mother, I expect she passes on this wealth.

Always feel lucky to have your mother’s presence,
She is your great strength and your life’s essence.

Thanks a lot @ShreyaMusings and @PrasadVR . I wrote the poem before the incident and the post after the incident. I was unable to relate why mom called that time today.

@That is where again and again God proves he is there to protect us in times of need. We search everywhere for God. No. We need not. God is there around us only
in the form of our mother
and father. If God wants to protect somebody do you think he will come and stand before you…No..He acts only through people around us. Thank God…Nothing serious happened. You are a blessed soul. @Gurukrishnapriya
