Thai Shrimp Fried Rice in the Philippines

Asian cuisine is very rich in flavors. From the spicy chopping boards of Indonesia, to the sweet-style dishes of the Philippines, to the very rich and aromatic pho of Vietnam. But there’s one food that really captures the palate of the West: Thai cuisine. Like any typical Asian cuisine, a plate full of Pad Thai is bursting with the typical Asian flavor.

I am not a big fan of Thai cuisine as I can’t tolerate spicy foods but my first full plate of a Thai cuisine is that of a Shrimp Fried Rice, and I have to say, it wasn’t bad.

Hey @renato_tan , Thanks for sharing with us! Can’t begin to imagine the flavours, i bet they must have come so delicious. As it’s called Thai “Shrimp” Fried Rice, can’t see any shrimps on the plate or is it chopped into smaller bits?

Hi Nuhuu! Sorry about the image. Lol. I did NOT notice the lack of shrimp at the picture at first until you pointed it out. There were 2 pieces of big shrimps underneath the rice by the way. The rice had buried the shrimps so well. Lol. This is so embarrassing. :dotted_line_face::face_with_peeking_eye::melting_face:
