The Kapaleeswarar Temple in Mylapore is surrounded by many restaurants. One of my favorite restaurants is NITHYA AMIRTHAM a vegetarian restaurant. Nithya means always available and Amirtham means elixer or divine nectar. As the name suggest from morning till night food is always available. Prices are modest.
The above picture is store front picture.
The speciality is the view of Kapaleeswarar Temple from inside the restaurant. The view is amazing.
The above picture is the view of the Temple Gopuram
Like you could view the Temple from the restaurant, we can see the restaurant from inside the Temple.
The restaurant is constantly cleaned and maintained neatly. Very friendly staff.
Sweets, savours, snacks, beverages, breakfast, lunch dinner and chat delicacies are available with traditional flavour.
Cool drinks of many flavours and fresh fruit juices are very special here.
The above picture goes well with @MathanVibranarayan challenge #BEAT THE HEAT
The restaurant is always crowded particularly in the mornings, afternoons and evenings and weekends.
The above picture is taken in the snacks time in the evening. A wholesome dining experience.
My review in Google Maps

Thanks for reading @SanJi my post.
Yes that restaurant is famous among tourists and devotees. That Temple draws huge crowds and more than 40 to 50 small and big restaurants are around this Temple. If possible once I will conduct a virtual meetup. A very interesting place
Nicely written post @Gurukrishnapriya ma’am. I visited this temple 16 years ago with my mom and grandparents. But now the surroundings of the temple must have undergone many changes. Nice to see the beautiful gopuram view from the restaurant itself.
Excellent contribution to Beat the Heat challenge as well. Nannari sharbat acts as a coolant for our body during the hot and humid Chennai weather. I find it much better than traditional lemon juice.

Thanks for reading and giving your valuable comments @Ssiddharth2000 . The place has changed but not much because of the Temple and the nearby tank . The number of restaurants, shops and Temple items, etc., have increased very much.
Yesvas you mentioned Nannari Sharbath is really very good coolant.

Thanks @jagatji I am happy that you liked my post and pictures. Yes mouth watering indeed. I usually get confused what to eat.so many options. I end up drinking coffee. This time when you visit a Temple try this place. Particularly go to the first floor and you can have the view.
Yes @MathanVibranarayan the view is really a very good one. During festivals the illuminated Gopuram view is still more attractive. Thanks for your feedback.

Nein das Restaurant gefällt mir sehr gut, nicht nur wegen dem Ausblick auf den Tempel, sondern in den Straßen geht es sicher sehr geschäftig zu.
