Telunjuk Raung Geowalk

Continuing my previous story about Telunjuk Raung Family Camp out, this is the part of my geowalk into the Telunjuk Raung Waterfall. Of course, it’s located on the same site as the campground, and the entrance to the waterfall is on the north side.

First, you need to go through this playground to the north. After that, you can easily search this signage and entrance gate below to the waterfall.

After that entrance, you will found a lot of well-developed stairs going down to the valley. Actually, I’m having quite good health condition that day so I can managed to conquer them easily (even other visitors are amazed about how well I could climb up and down through all the stairs).

(This is the half part of the descent, people can get some rest after that descent). And the descent still continue :grinning:

At the left side, you can see some fresh water coming out from the rock, it’s really good to see them!

Finally, I have been reached the bottom of the valley! I need to cross the bridge first to reach the other side of the river. You can see some watercress (selada air) being planted next to the river.

Several meters from there, you can see a mini dam that being used by visitors to swim.

After going around them, I need to walk again for around 100 meters to reach the waterfall.

And this is it, I have been reached the waterfall! It’s really nice to see this beautiful natural wonders that God given to us in the earth.

As usual, I’ve take a 360 photo at the waterfall. But unfortunately, it has some blank parts that made me unsatisfied and discard them :disappointed_relieved: . Alright then, that’s all my story about the Telunjuk Raung Waterfall geowalk. I can’t wait to explore other beautiful wonders and share it here to all of you  !

Hello @wahyu_pratamabwi

I am attracted to your beautiful post about this Waterfall place. The pictures are very clear and vivid. Especially the first one,I like the clear sky and green fields etc.

I love nature and water falls things like that relaxes me. I have A post on waterfalls here . Please look it up when you are free.

As regards the 360 photos. I am a big fan of that as well. I have almost 140 on my profile. It’s funny how sometimes it works well other times it doesn’t.

Just to say I like your post.

Cheers

Your waterfall picture looks gorgeous! I really love how you take that picture and describe it with your words. I agree with you that nature is giving a relax mood, especially when we’re focused on it and not distracted by notifications.

I think I’ve just got around 60-70 360 photos, and it’s quite a challenge when I need to turn all around to take that picture and suddenly you’ve missed several parts of it. Not to mention that sometimes the picture just stuck into processing and not generated properly  .

Greetings from Indonesia @SholaIB

Beautiful glacier pictures @wahyu_pratamabwi this whole place will give you an adventurous vibe , I hope you enjoyed here , how’s your experience here and what’s the best part or moment you want to share with us , I’m really excited to know this .

Thank you very much @Mukul_Anand , it’s really nice to have a geowalk here, especially with families around. I think that the best part is the route itself. The track into the waterfall is really nice and have a stunning view around. Also I think that this route is quite accessible at least for most of the tourist, so it’s really attractful for everyone to come and visit. Then, everyone could have a swim in the mini dam after that long track down. After relaxing at the dam, anyone can just go several meters away to see that waterfall and take a picture to show it for others like in this discussion.
