If you want to relax from urban fuss, enjoy the beauty of Belarusian nature, Plyeshchanitsy Recreation Center Priroda-Lux situated on the banks of the Plyeshchanitsy reservoir will be a good solution for you.

The accommodation complex consists of timbered modern cottages equipped with all the necessary accessories, including the barbecue grill. There is a possibility to play volleyball, badminton and billiard, visit a vapour bath, children can play at the children playground.

For fishing amateurs there is a possibility to fish on the river basin Rudovka (16 hectares) from boats or from coast, as well as on a small artificial pond of «Priroda-Lux», which fills up with trademark carp annually.

Behind the territory of the complex a beautiful softwood forest is located. During the summer-autumn period it is fool of mushrooms and berries and attracts simply walking.

After the everyday noise and vanity this place meets you with bird chirping and leisurely calmness, silence is stunning. Fresh air and really picturesque nature makes you enjoy every moment.

Nowadays agritourism is actively developing in Belarus. There are many other farmsteads friendly opening their doors to tourists. And I think it’s a good trend for our country.

Hello @OlgaKlimchik ,

Such an amazing place, thank you for sharing it with us!

There is nothing better than being surrounded by nature, a huge dose of calm and peacefulness.

I guess you need to do a reservations long time before going there, right? Is it famous among locals?

@BorrisS Thank you for your interest. Of course you need to reserve a place before you go there. We were there only once and I didn’t know something about this place until that time. We went there by invitation of our local friends, it was early spring and we were alone then. I don’t know if there is a lot of people in summer, but they write on site that the maximum amount of people they can host is 32 persons.

What a beautiful writeup. What I love most in this your writeup is the cottage design. I noticed it was outrightly designed and built from timber. I want to ask if the timber was actually treated or it is resistant to termite and other organisms attack because of its specie? In Nigeria, only buildings built by the British government are still standing today, most of them in University of Nigeria. Thank you for sharing it here. Kudos:hugs::+1: @OlgaKlimchik @Chiazodo @OmerAli

@Austinelewex Thank you for your words. There are not termites in our region, so the only danger may com from such natural reasons as humidity, temperature drops and microorganisms activity. Insects spoil the wood not so much as termites. So as far as I know the only treatment is antiseptic.

I think in ancient times the wooden houses didn’t treat at all, there are a lot of wooden houses in rural area till now, and I don’t know if they were treated during the building.
