So today it was a rainy day and the best thing is to have a hot chai in this cold climate.My todays chai time was in Neela tea stall, Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram.
The glass of frothy chai warms the hands and soul.Laid out on a banana leaf,a soft omelette sprinkled with pepper and a crispy pappad complete this humble but satisfying set-up.The splashing sound of raindrop along with this combination becomes more than just a meal,it becomes a moment of peace and nostalgia.
All types of vada,chai and dosa is available.All food items are served on banana leaf.

Yes @TusharSuradkar sir your absolutely correct now a days we can’t predict the climate it will be sunny but at the same time it will be raining on the other side and the speciality of this tea stall is that all food items are served on banana leaf.

@Gouri.PS love those rainy day chai moments – especially when it comes with an omelette and pappad on a banana leaf (I seriously wanted to try)! That seems like an ultimate comfort combo. Sounds like you found a real gem of a spot for your tea talk.
