Taste incredible flavors in this artisanal ice cream shop

Under a large mango tree, in the heart of the San Antonio neighborhood, in the city of Cali in Colombia is located an unusual artisan ice-cream shop, Lengua de Mariposa is its name and that’s where the flavors of the traditions of the city, the Pacific region, the Andes and the Amazon, giving rise to more than 140 different types of ice cream.

Every day you will find 16 different flavors that are rotating, you can choose between exotic tropical fruits such as arazá, chontaduro, jaboticaba, or copoazú. There are also mixtures with local liqueurs such as viche, arrechon and wine, you can find flavors of local food such as champus, aborrajado, and even caramelized pork rind with passion fruit and cape gooseberry (which is my favorite), I’m sure you have not heard many of these names but you’ll fall in love as soon as you taste them in your mouth.

Over the years, this small ice cream shop has given much to talk about and now is a must for locals and visitors of the city of Cali.
