Taman Safari Indonesia, A Perfect Getaway for all

Have you heard of or been to Taman Safari Indonesia?

Taman Safari Indonesia is really a unique place to visit.

This huge complex of free-range zoo as well as the conservation center is indeed a great place to be. We learn so much about these wild animals and their preservations while enjoying their natural environment. This is something precious for me and my family who love outdoor activities and nature as well.

It takes around 1.5 - 2 hours drive from Jakarta, depending on the traffic. The main road of Jalan Raya Puncak might be a bit tricky as it’s always packed, but it worth the trip.

My kids really enjoyed the visit and we had tons of fun taking picture of the animals and even petting some of them. Besides the zoo, there are several choices of amusement parks including water park, penguin house, kampung Papua, bird park, reptile tunnel, primate center, and other fun rides.

We also went to Giant Panda, a newly-established attraction where you see giant pandas and some other distinct animals from China like red pandas. So all in all, don’t miss this place when you are around Jakarta or Bogor. Enjoy!

Hello @indahnuria ,

Thank you for sharing, it’s been a while since i visited Taman Safari and I actually heard a lot of great thing about the night safari, have you tried it before?

Terima kasiih…Sure, why not! boleeeh banget saling belajar kitaa

No worries! I love hunting photos too whenever I get the chance. I should visit the one in East Java then!

You should then come and visit Bang @Radjasitanggang …it’s cool indeed!

We were so tempted to try the night safari @AngieYC especially since we only need to add Rp 50.000,- per person on top of our ticket. But it was raining hard at 5.30 PM as we finished our day tour so we decided to go home. Hopefully next time we’ll be able to check the night safari.

Hello @indahnuria ,

I see, I never got a chance to visit the night safari but I heard great things about it. So, when you visit the night safari next time don’t forget to snap some cool photos and share your experience with us.

I will be looking forward to read more about it.

Hai @indahnuria .

At least I visit this Taman Safari twice, of course with my daughters.

This ia a good place to let the children learn something about the real world.

  • The first time is in a broadday light, so my daughters can take some pictures with rare animals.
  • The second is what they called “Safari in The Night”, my daughters learn about nocturnal animals.

Yes it is fun visiting Taman Safari.

I wish to experience night safari too @indahnuria

How was it @BudiFXW ? Were the animals still active during the night?

Hai @Velvel and @indahnuria .
