Samrat Tea is a well-known tea point in Jaipur, situated alongside two adjacent shops under the Samrat name—Samrat Sweets and Samrat Restaurant. The tea shop claims that two former Chief Ministers of Rajasthan have visited and enjoyed tea there. Customers can choose between tea served in a kulhad or a glass, with the kulhad tea priced at ₹30 and glass tea at ₹25.
Since I prefer tea in a kulhad, I first collected a token from the counter at Samrat Restaurant, as Samrat Tea only accepts tokens for payment. Interestingly, when I checked Google Maps, I noticed that while Samrat Sweets was listed, the tea shop itself was missing. This might be because the tea is prepared and served at Samrat Tea, but all transactions take place at the restaurant next door.
To ensure accurate representation, I added Samrat Tea as a tea point on Maps and also uploaded photographs. It was surprising to see such a popular spot missing from the listings, but now tea lovers can easily locate it online and enjoy its famous chai.
